    ESSAY ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE ROLE OF MRP IN IMPROVING BUSINESS PERFORMANCE CASE STUDY: HIKMA PHARMACEUTICALS

    The pharmaceutical market is experiencing intense competition, compelling companies to enhance their commercial performance in order to maintain their position in the market. This thesis focuses on analyzing the role of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in improving business performance, using Hikma Pharmaceuticals as a case study. The research findings reveal that while the implementation of MRP offers certain benefits, it alone is not adequate to drive significant improvements in business performance. Other critical factors, such as production capacity of machines, startling adjustments in delivery and production schedules, and efficient inventory management, are essential for effectively integrating with MRP to achieve enhanced performance. By shedding light on the challenges associated with leveraging MRP, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the subject and emphasizes the significance of considering various factors for comprehensive business improvement. These insights provide valuable guidance to pharmaceutical companies seeking to optimize their operations in a fiercely competitive market
