The agricultural supply chain is essential for delivering fresh products from farmers to consumers across borders. This research investigates how optimizing the agricultural supply chain can improve the efficiency and quality of fresh product handling in Algiers Harbor, focusing on storage, and logistical complexities. This study employs qualitative methods, including interviews with key partners and direct observations. Data were gathered from field observations and in-depth interviews to understand the current inefficiencies and identify potential areas for improvement within the supply chain. The findings reveal several critical areas for enhancement in the agricultural supply chain affecting Algiers Harbor. Key issues include the adoption of advanced tracking technologies, improved scheduling and container handling protocols. Optimizing the agricultural supply chain has significant implications for improving the handling of fresh products in Algiers Harbor. The study recommends investing in technology-driven solutions and fostering closer collaboration among partners. These measures are expected to enhance the efficiency of logistics operations, minimize product loss, and ensure the delivery of fresher goods to reception countries, thereby bolstering the region's agricultural export capacity
